This webpage contains photographs of Chief Sam Cook Mahmuwee Education Centre in Split Lake, Manitoba, Canada.

The Chief Sam Cook Mahmuwee Education Centre was designed to resemble an eagle standing on the ground. The eagle's beak above the front doors of the school is pointing up towards the sky. The eagle's wings and tail are spread out covering the school's classrooms.

Chief Sam Cook Mahmuwee Education Centre is a kindergarten to grade 12 school. At times there was a short term community college or university course taking place in the school building. For example, I was once kicked out of my computer lab for about two weeks so that a visiting university instructor could teach an adult class how to use the computers.

This playground is located just beyond the end of the elementary wing of the school. A smaller children's playground with climbing apparatus was located near the front doors of the school just outside the kindergarten classrooms.
